Hi, i've read all the posts on the alarm problems can someone tell me what the scuttle cover panel is and where it is so i can disconnect the power sounder??

i've just disconnected both horn plugs to try to give the neighbours a good nights sleep. will take it to the dealers as soon as i get chance to have it all sorted out. thanks to all of you for your help on this matter.

hi, no it doesn't concern me about the indicators not flashing etc i just thought i had no alarm on this car when i got it because of no indication. i've had the car 6 months or so and this is only just started to happen. as for the button on dash it does not light up or anything when pressed to indicate the sensors inside have been de-activated.
 I think it sounds like on pay day i'll have to drop it into the local vauxhall dealers to get it checked out, or there is a specialist in car audio and alarms near me deals with fitting thatcham etc should i take it to him first???
any ideas?

HI, i'm sorry to be a pain, i've read all the posts on alarms and can't seem to find one that matches my problem so i hope someone can help,
 When i lock the car by remote the indicator lights do not flash nor does any internal lights to show any alarm is activated however the central locking works fine as do the deadlocks.
 the last week or so the alarm horn (beep beep beep etc) has been going off whenever it wants to usually at night so i have ruled out the hot bonnet fault as mentioned in the forum. the alarm will stop when click open on remote but when i lock it again it may go off again shortly afterwards. sometimes it may just go off for one alarm cycle other times it keeps going for 2-3 or 4 cycles.
 Does anyone have any ideas before the neighbours come after my blood??

thanks, it worked this morning but when i tried it after work it didnt work?? also not sure if the alarm is working properly- may have to take it back to vauxhall. anyone know how to test the alarm ( without putting a brick through my window haha)

hi, all of a sudden i cannot close the windows from outside the car by holding down the close button on the key fob. it worked yesterday ( i had it into vauxhall yesterday for a new alarm sounder and new key fob). the locking/ unlocking still works with the key fob though?? does anyone have any ideas please, its a Y reg 2001 omega 2.5 V6 cdx
