shocks should be changed in pairs

as for the brake pipes i have found a set on line of braided stainless steel ones all round for £45 might be worth a look

Do you know the cars History, not been the wrong side of a few hedges has it :(.

Seems to me that if you've had all that checked and it's coming up ok then maybe the cars bent :o.

i dont no the full history but in answer to your suggestion i thought that and took it to a crash repair center and had it put on a jig which confirmed it was straight which is why i am confussed  :-? :-?

i did my cam cover gaskets following the guide it took me about 5 hours.

but the guide is spot on

but mine is now again leaking (i made the mistake of non vx gaskets) so i am converting to vectra covers as i have been told these are better? and genuine vx gaskets this time

i have two questions

1. is it easy to wire in a set of steering wheel controls if it did not have any before.? will the plug already be there?

2. i am considering lowering my omega estate as the shocks are getting a bit bouncy now and looking in to it i can get a lowering kit with shocks and springs for the same sort of money. is it worth lowering it? will it drive the same? whats you oponions :-?

Omega General Help / Re: Headlights
« on: 04 December 2007, 21:36:51 »
the problem with the headlights is that are plastic  :(

i found the best way to restore the headlight is by using a 12,000 grade wet and dry paper which is designed for taking scratches out of glass and perspex

it is hard to find the wet and dry paper
