Precisely.  :y
Macron has run rings around the waste of space, skin & fresh air we currently have as our PM. Just as everyone else does.
Should have sent the little shit back to France in a dinghy, accompanied by 50 or so of the "people" he has allowed to come here.

But fit poly bushes at the front and genuine GM bushes at the rear of them if you want decent handling.
Then wheel alignment to WIM specs.

And yet the French take something like 6 times as many migrants in as Britain!

I was reading about a migrant who was processed in Greece but moved on ( to Britain) as although he was accepted there by the Greek authorities, they would never allow him to bring his family. There should be bio metric cards ( for everyone including homegrown Brits) and details shared by interpol. Before anyone complains, we live in 2025 not 1025.

It would take some hard indisputable facts to convince me of that.
But regardless, its up to the French how many people they allow into their country, and it should be up to us how many we allow into the UK.
Macron has just spent two days making Starmer look like a clown (not difficult I know) and laughing at this country..
He may as well have stood on the balcony of Buck house and peed on Charles head.
While he was here, no dinghys crossed the channel. So not only can they stop them as and when they want to, but he shamelessly did this as a demonstration while he was here "having serious talks". Then apparently reached an agreement with Starmer to take back 50 of them per week.
50 out of 4000 who arrived last week.
If Starmer isnt self aware enough to realise that this is designed to make him look like Macrons little bitch, he should be allowed to put his own socks on in the morning, never mind run the country.

They used to call him ' Nasty Norm' back when Thatcher held the reins. >:D

I expect we all remember the massive hoo haa when he told the unemployed to get on your bike and find a job!  ;D

But in reality, he didnt.  ;)
He was having a go at the people who were rioting about high unemployment figures. Not having a go at the unemployed.
He said when his father was out of work in the 30,s he didnt riot. He got on his bike and looked for work.

I have never set foot in the place and never will. It used to be full of French people, which is bad enough, but now it has millions of other undesirables too.

Just bomb Paris and be done with it.  Its not as if the RAF are busy at the moment. :y :)

General Car Chat / Re: Did this belong to anyone on here?
« on: 08 July 2025, 18:39:48 »
A bloke came over to me in Tescos car park last week to talk about my Omega, which is getting pretty common these days.
He reckoned it was easily worth a couple of grand.
I have no idea, and have no plans to ever sell it, so it doesnt really matter to me.

Probably worth a lot more if it was still a Datsun 240z.  ::)

;D. There have been some very amusing threads over the years. Also quite a few names that faded away. Either moved to a different marque or actually faded away……Desperate Den.

Yeah its a shame most of the old stalwarts arent on here these days.
I miss Loo knees unique brand of mayhem and hilarity too.
Im still in contact with him, although he is a much more subdued character these days.

Wasnt far out then.............by my standards.  :y :D
