Omega General Help / engine shake

 afternoon all,

can someone please advise me as to what the cause of shaking is when the car is in stationary traffic, idling etc, the car feels a bit sluggish like it is possibly misfiring.

could this be a reason for the shaking?

evening all

would anyone have any suggestions on the following issue with my 2.5 td auto:

when the car comes to a stop ie traffic lights, roundabouts, the car cuts out!! you then start it up and all is well until you have to stop again.
the car has had a recon diesel pump, injectors, no stored codes, or eml, in a straight line it will drive a1 until you have to stop.
im thinking could it be the idle control valve, air flow sensor, crank sensor maybe?

any help would save this car from the scrappers

hi all,

can someone please tell me if the autobox which appears to be staying in the lower gears, rev high and then go in gear with "automatic gearbox" on mfd, would this indicate ie, low transmission fluid or maybe worse the box being knackered?

any help with this would be greatly appreciated

can someone tell me what is securing the spoiler on an estate? is it any screws or is it held with some sort of seal? I would like to take one off a salvage car.

is a leaking exhaust manifold going to pose any problems driving wise( due to get repaired at the weekend)

have been told it will cause the car to cut out when in stationary traffic?

any ideas, always appreciated

hi,

being new to this site I was hoping for some expert advice

is it possible to fit a abs unit from a 2.2 auto into a 3.0? the local breakers seem to think so im not quite sure

any help would be much appreciated.
