Thanks for the prompt and informative replies. it is really appreciated.

Had I known I was going to need this part, I would have made an effort to pick one up during a visit to London last July as I recall passing by accident at least one Vauxhall dealer close to Heathrow airport (when the taxi driver encountered multiple detours in and around Uxbridge and was a bit distracted, perhaps by the tennis match playing on the car radio or maybe due to the heat spell...  Had I taken the "right" option on the Piccadilly line in the first place, I wouldn't have ended up in Uxbridge needing a taxi ride in the first place, but that's a story for another day... made it to my hotel in West Drayton... made it back safely to California ) ...

Would like 2 new OIL FILTER CONNECTORs / part #90412159

My preferred option would be to advance funds, say, via paypal or other agreeable means or method,  to cover the parts, postage and effort it would take to get them to me here in the US...

I'll consider other options presented if my preferred option does not come to pass...

Ready to proceed...

Thanks again

Hi:

I'm keenly aware that there are other posts for this topic... none has been found that answers the actual question -- at least not recently:

"Where to find OIL FILTER CONNECTOR Part #90412159 ?"

While searching recently for a nice, low-mileage, local "daily driver" sedan for a few thousand bucks, I was fortunate enough to find, within 2 miles of my home, a really beautiful rainforest green 2000 Cadillac Catera with only 15000 miles...  Never popular here in the states, this Opel/Vauxhall Omega B variant is considered an undesirable dog... a lemon...  but I don't see it this way.  Its a lot of car for not a lot of money that looks to have been well engineered, well equipped and solidly built... not without flaws, to be sure, but a nice "ride" especially with only 15000 miles and no history of any accidents or damage and all servicing and recall work documented completed and in order.

Both my wife's Saturn and the Catera have similar engines that use the canister-type oil filter: a  3.0L 54-degree GM v6 assembled in the UK.  The Saturn shows some leaking around the base of the canister where it is attached to the engine block whereas the Catera does not.

Wanting to convert both cars to use the spin-on filter and finding such a wealth of info on this forum, I decided to join and reach out to members who might be able to point me to where I can find 2 OIL FILTER CONNECTORs, part #90412159, essentially NOW.  Every online parts site I've visited of late, both here and abroad all state that this is a discontinued part and no longer available.

Not yet willing to visit junk yards in search of used connectors (or trying to find a similar pipe fitting from a plumbing or hardware supply store, unless these are my only options).

Don't need links to sites that already state "out-of-stock", "discontinued item", "no longer available" or anything similar...

Would appreciate your assistance.

Thanks,
