Omega General Help / my cat revs just before it stops

I wonder if anyone can help I have an omega B 1995 2.5 auto saloon. when I brake just before the car stops it revs like it wants to take off.

I have change the idle control valve and also the egr but this still happens.

Can anyone help?

Hi sorry there was no button to reply earlier.
Yes it was the idle control valve.

Hi I have a 2.5 omega auto saloon.

just before I stop the car revs and seems to lurch forward, it does this on normal braking.

I have changed the throttle control valve and also the EGR but it still happens.

Can anyone help please.
