Omega General Help / engine immobilizier

ive an m reg 2.0 16v omega - all of a sudden today the key fob has stopped working.  its infra red.  ive changed the batteries.  i can use the key to lock my car , but i cant disengage the imobilizier.  any help would be great.

hi all    i have a proble with my m reg omega - - the key fob has stopped working so i cant start the car - ive replaced the batteries.  i can lock it, but i cant take the immobilizer off - any help would be great -
