Omega General Help / Fitting rear quarterlight window
« on: 11 October 2007, 11:27:12 »
I have a 2.5v6 Facelift model (new shape).
Unfortunately my passenger side rear quarterlight window has been smashed and I need to replace it. Does anyone know of a step by step way of replacing it? I am not the most gifted at manual jobs but will give it a go, I can obtain the glass from a local breakers yard but don't want to be stuck with it should I not be able to fit the glass. I am hoping it is just a case of removing a few bits and placing the glass into position (fingers crossed). Anyones help is really appreciated.

Hi,

I have a 2000 Facelift 2.5v6 MODEL. Recently I started the car and noticed the air conditioning/heating would not start, all the lights and display was completely blacked out, the heated seats work, the cd works but none of the heating, not even the rear window heater. I checked the fuse and it appears the fuse has blown so I inserted another one but this blew straight away. Four new fuses later I am still without the heating/air conditioning etc as the fuses just blow immediately after putting them in, coming into the rainy season the car is misting up rapidly so I could do with some help please. I am not mechanically minded and have not got a clue were to start. Many thanks to anyone who helps.

Cheers Billy!
