Omega General Help / EML light on permanently!
« on: 18 April 2012, 21:43:14 »
Hi,
My first post here!
I have a 51 plate Omega Elite.
Over the past few weeks the EML light has been on. Computer says it is the Cats.
Have changed those. No change.
Changed cat sensors - no change.
Changed mass airflow sensor - no change.

Car seems to run absolutely fine - no problems at all with EML on.
Concern of course is if I get a real problem - how will I know?

I have come to the conclusion that it could be an electrical fault - but where?
I am not a mechanic of any sort but would appreciate some (helpful) advice.
I am not looking for - take the bulb out or get rid of the car!
Thanks :(

Thanks. So is there anything that I can do about it  - or do I learn to live with it?

OK - Maybe - can I clean this myself - if so how?

Omega Electrical and Audio Help / CD Player Omega CDX 2001 (Y Reg)
« on: 11 October 2007, 15:39:05 »
Hi, Seem to be having a problem with my player recognising new CDS (Just bought 'The Very Best Power Ballads) - it will not recognise any of the disks but they will all play in any other player that I have. The player has become increasingly temperamental over the last few months. Is this something that is common? Can I do anything about it myself? Thanks.
