Omega General Help / No Spark
« on: 19 October 2007, 13:45:14 »
 >:(
Have rebuilt the top end, after head gsket, but i didnt strip it.

I have no spark, the crank sensor appears to be wired, as is the cam sensor, howevr i am not happy that the crank senro wiring seems out of place.

The sensor has a wire as part of the item, and the wire for this comes up to the top of the mtor, and connects to another three pin connector that is wired across the main loom carrier, but this just doesnt look right.

Also the cam sensor and crank sensor have the same connectors, have swapped bu to no avail.

Any ideas?

The only other anomolie is a wire at the rear of the head that has a spade connector that is roaming free, and doesnt seem to have a home.

I would also ask if anyone knows the resistance values of the cam and crank sensors?

Cheers guys a great site and life line.
