Omega Electrical and Audio Help / Re: v6 acceptable fault codes
« on: 27 April 2015, 18:22:34 »
In my experience, you can safely remove almost all of the above. Just do not forget to plug the back pipe  on the throttle, which serves fuel vapors. And the pipe on the exhaust manifold where  secondary air pump is blowing.
Vehicle speed sensor? I think it can be removed, although it may be not right work of engine computer.
In order to avoid errors it can be introduced  simulators into the wire, there are many schemes on the internet.
I removed the  EGRvalve  from my X30XE and put  simulator, so that everything is fine.

Omega Electrical and Audio Help / Re: Heated seats
« on: 27 April 2015, 18:00:02 »
Hi Marleyy!
I had a similar problem. I think this is a trouble amount of Omega's, because I saw like more than once.
Spiral heating element will eventually wear out, especially in the field of cross-linking. On velor trim can even burn together with soft filler. Simply do not use his power button.
I was repairing my heating by myself, but it's out of despair. It's need to change, because it is comfortable.

CID just needs to be put in "Delivery Mode" in that case, I recall there was a method for it. But it had a less than 50% chance of success, as I think TheBoy bricked a couple of displays trying.

Also, I still think the canbus does not work in the Omega, I recall many issues of people trying to get Vectra/Zafria CID's to work, but without success, due to lack of canbus?
Indeed, there is no cun-bus in Omega, only local, for the transmission of information from the head unit to the display, as well to control the on-board computer via the head unit and the buttons on the steering wheel.
I understand that a great chance to kill the display, but no other way. On the whole our country no more than thirty Omega cars, of which no one with a color display. Wanted to be first.
It was very hard to find and even buy such items.  And really want to continue to fight with display and radio. With high hopes for success and forum's help . Not accustomed to retreat.

Let me disagree. Omega and Astra-G  use the local Cun-bus for communication radio and display. Head units have the same platform. My set from different cars works well for 10 seconds, then lights "display safe". In this case, the radio displays the readings.  Only  Astra's display turns the image. So I want to fill in Astra's flash "delivery mode" dump from Omega, check both turn over a picture or not.

Omega Electrical and Audio Help / NCDC 2015 and CID from Astra
« on: 27 April 2015, 05:24:09 »
Hello Friends! I apologize in advance if similar issues have already been discussed and they have a solution. In this case, please suggest options or links.
My problem is that before, even without knowing all the details, I was bought HU NCDC 2015 Siemenc, taken from Omega-B is not unparied from native display, security code is unknown. Later, separately purchased CID, taken from Astra-G, as well unparied and with unknown code.
How i  read here in the same topic someone already had a problem with the display of Asters. Image shows in inverted form. Question about it: if i'l write down firmware from CID Omega, the picture will be normal or a marriage disleya? And if it possible find the firmware for the CID Omega in delivery status? Flash 93C56 already sealed-off, dump read.
It is necessary then to associate it with my NCDC 2015. As You have already realized, we can find the code from him, from his native CDC.  2464  flash just removed, dump read. You can calculate  a security code forom this dump?
Bring huge apologize for my English.
Unfortunately, here we do not have  the official dealer of Opel. So you have to decide everything on their own.
I will be very grateful for any help and advice.
