Hi Everyone,
Sorry I've not kept you all updated. We had a bit of haste selling the car but in the end after 3 listings sold it for £172 ( not as much as we would have liked but in the end just wanted it off our hands)

We raised a total of around £1800 on the rally and Geoff who started the fund at the start of 2015 raised £47,000 ( his target was £20,000) in just a year!

We've made a few videos of our trip and have posted links below ( sorry admin if this isn't allowed)

This was an amazing road trip and would highly recommend it to anyone considering doing one. (The Motoscape team are great)

We enjoyed it so much that we're doing it again this year but just as an adventure without the fundraising. If you want to follow our run up to and on the rally we're on Twitter @beachedbuoys and also Facebook with the same name Beached Buoys. This year we're doing a surf patrol / Baywatch type theme

So please follow us on social media

Thank You
Mark

If this isn't allowed I'm sorry but we're selling our banger and thought some of you maybe interested or even just curious.

<Link removed - really sorry, but we do enforce a zero tolerance policy on our selling rules>

We are a team of First Great Western Railwaymen taking part in the 2015 Motoscape rally ( http://www.motoscape-rally.co.uk ) in a 15 year old Vauxhall Omega 2.5 V6 auto that we bought for £300. Setting off on the 4th September from Dawlish/Exeter to Prauge driving through 12 countries in 7 days.

Our Team Theme is the Royal Airforce Red Arrows we have painted the car Red and plan to decorate the car and wear fancy dress to show this including tail fin. small wings, jet etc  with all logos and vinyl writing to mach. We are aiming to have the car ready for a charity football mach on the 16th August 2015 in Exmouth.

We are doing this to raise money towards a new portable scanner for Exmouth Hospital for Prostate cancer (http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/fundraiser-web/fundraiser/showFundraiserProfilePage.action?userUrl=Gadget007) A work colleague who was given the all clear from this disease a few years ago has made it his goal this year to raise and pay the £20,000 for a brand new machine this will reduce the waiting times across South Devon saving lives and reducing the need for people to travel into Exeter.

We have set up pages on social media in the form of Twitter And Facebook:

Twitter - @TeamDawlish ( https://twitter.com/TeamDawlish )
Facebook - Red Arrows Motoscapers ( https://www.facebook.com/pages/Red-Arrows-Motoscapers/919687794720463?ref=hl )

And the Virgin Money Page above.

Any Help anyone could offer would be so gratefully appreciated.

Any help would of course get tweeted and Facebook recigition and any companies also get a vinyl sticker or 2 on the car displaying our gratitude.

Thank you
