Just checking ....... sister in law said she's a light on on her Astra H, I can never remember which is which ...... the engine symbol with the spanner spanner through it. Is that the EML or emissions light?

Recently bought my lad a 1.2 54 plate corsa fitted with a CD30,problem is the bloody thing has a mind of its own and will switch itself on when locked and keys nowhere near it,works perfectly otherwise,any ideas chaps before Sammy gets to talk to it !!
Its done 14k. No sign of oil or oil spillage being wiped off either sump plug or filter area.
Filter is on the front of the engine high up. Hoses in the way. No way you could get it off without making a mess

VX claiming its down to non GM replacement parts are causing the issue.

It just makes you feel so good when you 12 more months of motoring for your carNo....it's an mot. No guarantee that your car won't go bang tomorrow.
