naw it's all good.....I didn't get one of those A class death traps...

It's a C220 CDI....with 883 miles on it!!!....diesel semi auto flappy paddle gearbox jobbies....tell the truth...I been having a bit of a "Top Gear" day today....driving like a wazzock.....and having a bit of a Donut frenzy!!! LOL.....

Just looking to see whether there's a circuit near me for a Track Day  ;D

For a turbo diesel....it shifts.....and the Brakes are phenomenol....stamp hard and ure fillings leave ya teeth!!!

Anyhoo.....I'm still looking for a Omega.....

Thanks for the warm welcome Guys.....

And yes!!! I'm scouring the worldy widey webbo as we speak.....Good cond FSH Leather Omegas are hard to find....it took me 1 month and a 200 mile round trip to find this one!!

I've driven just about every car you care to mention (in a former career)....and there are only 2 cars that came close to my Omega as far as comfort and 'pleasure factor'

The first would be a Lexus LS400 aka 'Da tank'........and the second was a 540i Beemer.......

But as far as 'bang for your buck' Omegas can't be beaten IMO.......

Anyhoo....the hunt continues....and I'm hoping that maybe someone can make some good out of my current bad situation.

EDIT: Hire car arrived about 2 hrs ago.....anyone wanna Guess what car they sent me?......CLUE: A numpty would probably use it to drive into an Omega!!!...LOL

Hiya folks!

Kinda new to this forum...only told about this place by the recovery driver who brought my Omega home AFTER some numpty in a Mercedes decided that stopping at a junction was beyond his capabilities  :'(  :'(

So that would make me the 'former' owner of a pristine condition, 3 owner 73K 1998 S Reg silver Omega 2.5 V6 CDX Auto with full cream leather interior....sobs......sniffs...

For those that may be interested I'll post some links in the "for sale/Cars wanted"  thread and hopefully someone will be able to make use of my misfortune....

Talk to you soon folks...
