Surely it shows just how good the car is.  I checked out the site daily but, with Parkinsons, I am unable to type these days so have to enlist the help of my long suffering wife.  She has housework to do and can't give her time fully to my online needs!

I am a newbie who has been a member for over a year since I purchased an Omega Elite Estate.  It has now failed its MOT and I am going to have to scrap it due to the ruling that I cannot advertise my vehicle for sale since I have not posted more than 250 posts.  I do understand the reason for this rule but feel it is rather excessive.  Someone out there would have been able to give her a good home and do the work necessary welding work to get her through and end up with a beautiful car with lots of extras.

Thanks for the reply.  An auto electrician says the problem lies with the driver's door "actuator".  Presumably this is the driver's door central lock motor.  If anyone has one of these for sale please let me know.

This is my first post having purchased a 1999 Omega 3 litre Elite Estate late last year.  Prior to that I had Ford Scorpio Ultimas but rust problems caused me to change.  I now have a problem.  When unlocking the door with the remote control the driver's door button does not fully rise up and the door remains locked.  The other three doors and tailgate can be opened.  If I use the key in the driver's door lock the four buttons open OK but on returning the key to a vertical position for removal from the lock the driver's door button relocks.  The key is also very difficult to remove from the lock.  Has anyone else had this problem and solved it.  I would appreciate any ideas or suggestions.
