Do you have the part no for the solenoid by any chance please? Also, did you get it from a main dealer or factor?
Oh and what running problems were you getting?

23 VALVE,TURBOCHARGER BOOST PRESSURE
I got it from the main dealers,its £38,and the car used to sometimes just go into limp mode for no reason,and turning the ignition off and on again would fix it,i don't know if this problem was connected to this valve or not though,only time will

I replaced that part today and it cured the code p1590 :Cool2:
while i was at it i put a new battery on first as i thought i could do with a new one,so i read the codes and it was still there so the battery made no difference,then i put this new valve on and read the codes and its all clear now
