Hi Kevin.  Just had another go at the relays and fuses under the bonnet, and a few felt a bit loose, pushed them all in and the gearbox now works fine.  Thanks again for your help.  Says something about the strength of the old bus, her Mercedes bumper was in tatters, and my front bumper has a minor paint scuff.

Omega General Help / auto box malfunction

I was reversed into by a merc earlier today, with no apparent damage to my omega.  However once i drove away I got an Automatic Gearbox fault, and it appears to be in some sort of limp home mode.  It will not engage sport or winter modes either, i've checked all the fuses and relays are not loose, but am now stuck for ideas, and help would be much appreciated.

Omega General Help / coolant level, erratic temperature guage

Help, my 2.0 auto mega, consistently claims the coolant level needs checking, but it is ok in the expansion tank. and the temperature gauge displays erratically.  I did manage to dislodge a large air bubble, but the problem remains, any ideas please?  Sorry its a 2000/2001 model.

Hi all, enjoying my new (to me) omega after years of Carlton and vectra ownership,  Latest vectra has badly worn bores so failed MOT, needed a cheap replacement and found a slightly flawed Omega 2.0 CD, but no major problems, and its low mileage for its age.
