I dislike Trump, however without getting into specific rights or wrongs, he is doing pretty much what he said he would do before his election. Unlike some country leaders I could mention. Ahem . . .

You're completely wrong of course

There is no "illegal migratation" any more, it's now "irregular migration"  ???

John Mayall, the godafather of British Blues. Age 90
A major influence on the teenage me, and he mentored so many musicians who went on to great things.
The "Beano Album" remains a classic

Head Honcho had a farm not that far from me. I know people who know and who worked with him.
They're all bonkers  :o
One recently seen waving a palestinian (Hamas) flag on a main road bridge. They really are truly nuts. It's all political.

Where I live there is an invisible ray on the way into the town that renders everyone colour blind to red lights.

I'm no fan of Trump, but Obama "allegedly" got it right

It could simply be that they're having to sell every last spare byte to advertisers to stay afloat.

That's not to dispell any tinfoil moments, but the methodology might be more subversive than we can give it credit for.

GB news might actually be a mechanism to misdirect the centre left as much as the right.

They really do have some crap adverts.

I think the loons at 'hope not hate' have it in for them.

It says something when a stall in Swansea Market advertises. But then, it's still better than funeral plans and incontinence pads !  ::)

UK General Election

The major parties are releasing their manifestos tomorrow. You know, all the things that they will say that they will do. But what about the other stuff, all the crap that comes out in interviews etc. We will . . . .

At what stage will the panic step in when everyone is promising everything to everyone.

2019:
John McDonnell stated on TV that he would remove "every trace of privatisation from the NHS". Possibly the most stupid comment from any politician ever.  Also the WASPI women would get everything owed. Yeah right.

Tories. Dramatically cut immigration and EU red tape. Well that didn't happen either. Immigration went up and the "bonfire of EU rules" never happened.

Starmer and Sunak. Two cheeks from the same arse. I don't believe either of them. Starmer will say anything to get the keys of No10, and Sunak has had time to do the things that he isn't going to do.

I'm off to bury my head in the sand. But I'm curious about at what stage the stupid promises will start emerging. I've got the popcorn ready.

Dr Michael Mosley. TV Dr.   Very sad story this.

He was a likable character and when if channel flipping he popped up on the screen, I always paused to see what he was talking about.

RIP.

I have to be honest, I had no idea of who he was without Googling

Serves as a lesson to those of a certain age or more. Just understand that you're not 20 years old, so be sensible.

I'm guessing the 1922 committee had almost enough letters of intent to kick him out. Ask Graham Brady.

Ah yes, Sir Graham Brady chair of the 1922 Committee that got shot of Boris and manipulated Sunak into No 10. The Sir Graham Brady who is now standing down at the election, deserting the sinking ship that he helped blow a hole in. That Sir Graham Brady  . .

Looks a bit like Snowdon, or whatever the Welsh call it today, on Bank Holiday weekend.  :)

Don't start me off on that one  :-\

Renaming one of the biggest tourist attractions and landmarks. Bonkers  ???

So Khan is re-elected Mayor of London. Surprise surprise given the demographics of London.
Without much doubt, Labour will form the next Government
Theocracy rather than democracy ever increasingly influences current voting patterns
I'm off. I'll stick my head in the sand.
It's very selfish, but I'm of an age when current events will not affect me greatly. I just feel sorry for my kids and future generations.
