Hi Cem,
this was disabled by default in IOS 11.3 iirc and is disabled in all versions since. this was done to reduce dos attacks using the directed broadcast as a reflector. It is starting to be enabled in a lot of places again as it is a required function to allow wake on LAN across subnet boundaries.

cheers

Tom

Welcome aboard to tomh, our latest newbie "sweaty-sock" to join the site  :y

This is Toms first post and it's to confirm that he will be attending our meet on Sunday.

Are you bringing the Omega or the boat Tom???  ;)

boats out the water for the winter Dave, though I suppose the Omega is a bit bargelike so it's a bit like coming by boat but quicker

I work extensivly with cisco kit, I have a usb serial port somewhere which does work fine for breaks, done many a password reset with it. :-) Using a d630 atm as well so haven't used it in a while will dig it out and post the info.

actually the switch is a catalyst 3550 layer 3 switch, it is end of sale but still supportable for a year or so. The routers on the other hand are end of sale and end of support, so really should be replaced if they are mission critical.

cheers Tom
I wouldn't mind betting its configured and set up as a layer 2 switch....   ...which would be a waste when I'm after replacing a 2900XL with a layer 3 one (my 2900 is old one, no layer 3 capability)
most of them are TB, I have a couple in my rack at home, what do you need exactly? If you have the cash there is a 8port 3560 layer3 with poe now I was thinking of getting for the house I can get a price for you if you want.

I got back from three weeks in Oz at the beginning of December and the prices quoted are right, yes it is per litre. we booked our hire car 6 months in advance, ford falcon, supposed to be 4.0l, level and they gave us a poxy toyota camray but because we paid in advance it only cost us £400 for the three weeks. Eating out is cheap and the portions huge  :y
Pretty much all the cars out there are autos as well.

where about are you going Tunnie?

to stop the brake fluid going every where a simple thing is to put a layer of cling film over the reservoir and put the cap back on

hope it makes sense :-)
