Omega Electrical and Audio Help / Re: NCDC 2015 Wiring
« on: 16 August 2020, 20:52:21 »The RGB cable is only used when displaying the map function of the navigation, including the pop-up map. These functions produce a blank screen if no RGB cable.I didn't understand the schemes but I'll ask a friend if he is familiar with these kind of things, I was thinking about buying a loom ( https://www.ebay-kleinanzeigen.de/s-anzeige/opel-omega-adapterkabel-ncdr/1437566836-223-1124 ) like this one but it is very expensive. I hope I'll make it work with your schemes. Thanks a lot man.
It is not required for any other function, including the pictorial sat nav.
Telematics doesn't need RGB cable to function, even if you did fit it.
The telematics loom is just a 36way ISO extension lead (with minor modifications), and is useful if you want to add the RGB or do other loom mods. Certainly not essential if you are happy to cut and modify the existing loom.

I took my CID and NCDC 2015 from electrician to do it myself after waiting for him to figure out the wiring for 1 month. I removed speed cluster and CCRT 2008. Pluged CID and NCDC 2015, The screen booted but only showed Opel logo date and time, after asking to check breaklights and no other controls was working. The radio was working but only on/off I guess. I coudl hear the radio and turn the volume up and down, but can't change stations or to CD, also the screen didn't show the info. After a big disappointment I reinstalled cluster and old HU. I realized 'Sport' light was not working. The transmission works with the sport button as it should be but I guess I broke sth on cluster wiring or just the light in the cluster broken down. Any advice for radio + CID and how to replace lights in the cluster?
I wish I had that too.
