Another day of cutting, grinding and welding but have a working door on the teardrop, just a bit of welding left. Cut out the one side from a sheet of ply, Its coming together nicely.

Fetched the trailer this morning, was 12.30 by the time I got it in the workshop. 12.45 the sides were cut off and by 5 I had the side frames fitted, Its going to make a great teardrop trailer. The funny bit it the trailer was on a caravan chassis!

Clean licence so far at 70, must watch it now the Yeti has been remapped. Had trouble staying at 70 on the M5 last night in 5th as DPF light came on, just a touch on throttle. 4mile run sorted the DPF out.

I used a aftermarket remote on the Austin hot rod that has the Omega door locks and wiring loom, it goes to the 2 wires that go to the key switch and works fine. Good job as I have no external key!

Serviced the daily (Yeti) £100 for parts but did use good stuff then the bloke came and mapped out EGR and put a tune in it,extra 50HP he said. It gets a move on now with 220 HP.

Following my mate towing his hot rod on a trailer and I kept close as the trailer brake lights only working dim on one side when this smeg head joins of the slip road between us leaving no braking room. Nothing behind me and if he adjusted his speed would have joined safely, long slip road as well so plenty of time to back off.

Took the Austin to the Supernats hot rod bash at Shuttleworth ,lost clutch hydraulic pressure just as we got to the M40 and had to double declutch all the way there only had to put it in first once and start it. Engine ran sweet all the way and back and clutch okay after finding pedal stuck part way down and its been fine since  so far. Played guess the engine again and nobody got it!

Went to town in the Austin, spent half the time there telling folks what it was!!! Driving nice now, picks up from 4K but has plenty to keep up with others at 2K in top. Just filled it with all the camping gear, wish I had a small teardrop trailer now .

Sorted well bypassed the wiper fault, its the park/delay someplace so disconnected the wires. Works okay just have to watch where you turn them off. Slight oil leak from around the oil filter some place, size of a large pea on the floor and everything looks and feels dry so not worried yet. Its back home ready to go shopping for stuff for the weekend , watch out around Old Warden Thursday to Sunday!!!
