Broke the 1/2ins square drive end , they are replaceable just have to find a Snap on van!!! Took all my strength to get the bolt to that point, 250nm plus 45deg plus 15deg . It never got the last 15!

Fitted the new front oil seal, its a bit of a bugger to do. Found a bit of tube that was a bit larger in dia than the crank ,good bit of lube and it pushed in. Found an old VW air cooled main bearing was the right size to tap it in with a large socket, timing belt on and double checked. Made a crank locking tool from scrap bits but had to borrow Ds wrench to do 250nm, then giving it the 45deg it broke my 1m long Snap on breaker bar 1/2ins drive. Its FT so that will have to do, rad in tomorrow and see if it worked. You cant tell as the outer lip hides the inner bit. Elring seal and it was better quality than the first one.

Hairy arsed bloke in a dress is the misconception of trans ladies, for the ones who have fully transitioned that is not the case. Who would go through multiple surgeries, painful hair removal and all just to gain access to ladies areas.  Also now what about trans men who may be forced to use women's only areas, they didnt think that through.

Turns out its a non thing, all they did was define the meaning of sex in the law to mean biological sex so it changes nothing.

Managed to saw through the bolt that was holding the cross bar in, took 1/2hr with a hacksaw blade in a handle. Other side was easy as the grinder fitted in, pulled the seal and found lip turned over. Will have to be more careful this time.

Drove the Austin onto a trailer and took it to an indoor car and bike show Fri, drove into the building as well. First time its moved under Omega power, had to put a "nappy" under the  sump to catch the oil leak from front seal. Had a lot of nice comment and what the hell is that engine?  trailered it back Sun and drove it into workshop. Got it back on lift and started to strip it down to get at seal, theres a cross bar between the strut towers that also acts as a front wing brace and rad mount. Its bolted to the strut towers with vertical and horizontal bolts into rivnuts, the horizontal ones are spinning and cant hold the back as vice grips wont hold. Buggered my Knee trying to get the grips on so had to come home, up 3 fights of stairs one at a time just using my left leg.

The head bolts for my engine came as just one side, chances are its just intake valves. Check the piston height as found a bent rod on my engine.

It has large straight through silencers ,2.1/4 bore I think. They are a good 2ft long with one on each bank that then go to an X pipe with the tail pipes exiting before rear wheels. No cat to restrict!!

AS its a French POS it will have a bracket that you have to remove to get to the exhaust but you have to remove the exhaust to get to the bracket bolts-------------------
