Stupid question but is it always in German? very ocassionally mine comes up in German then corrects itself.
It may be that the heater matrix is blocked up or the HBV has a problem, does your car have aircon? climate control?

Also, worth putting your location in your profile.

i have just bought an omega Preg 2.0 16v but have a few problems. first 1 is the info display is in german, stop watch etc. other 1 is when i got the car it had no water in so i topped it up twice. its holding the water and its clean but theres little heat

i would have the suspension checked, especially camber.

The omegas suspension is adjustable, if it is out of tolerance then this could explain the strange wear

how do you adjust the suspension?

check vac layout diagrams in maintence guides....

the vac layout you told me to look at is for a v6 and i have a 2.0l, i just need to know what that little switch is called so i can replace it if u have any idea. also why does all other hbv's have 3 places for pipes and mine only has 2?

beside the hbv is a little round thing where the pipes from the brake servo pass through. when i take the top pipe off there is no suction coming through it, but there is suction going in. if i take both pipes off and join them 2gether i can feel water passing through hbv but still cant get and heat inside car, starting 2 do my box in

Is this a facelift CDX by any chance...? I wouldn't mind a spare 7-spoke wheel (not a buckled one, obviously), so if somehow one becomes redundant and you wish to convert it to a (very) tiny amount of cash, then.....
