Good morning all
I have an R reg 2.5 v6 Auto, I've had this problem where occaisionally the engine wont fire up after I've driven around and the engine is warm....i leave it for 10 mins to cool down and it works fine...Until this morning  where it wouldn't start at all...breakdown guy told my there is no spark and its probably a crank sensor....anyone know where that is and probable cost.

Cheers guys

Jim (SE London) :y

Waiting till tomorrow isnt a problem the problem is knowing what is actually wrong i'm guessing a crank sensor isnt cheap is it  common for them to fail.

I'm in Ashford kent and i'm not really sure if it is a crank sensor but yes i would be looking for help in locating and fitting a new one if that is the problem. :y

I checked again and i still got 55 followed by 4 quick flashes the reason i done test in first place is because i've broken down in kent and greenflag cant get me going reckons it might be a crank sensor would that be the 31 fault code
