Well firstly a/c drinks petrol ans at the price these days i cant afford it!! Secondly a/c would be an extra pulley therefore draining more power!! Shes alot more responsive since i took it out!!

I checked the exhaust its the baffles....cheers lads

check all the rubber bits are in place and that its not rattling against the body (rear heatshield can come adrift and rattle against the top of the back box.)

Kool fella il try changing the exhaust  :y

Seems very low!!! But il believe ya :) Whats annoying me tho is because its so low the exhaust is rattling a bit!!! Would it be stupid to turn it up a touch??

As the tiltle says lads im just wondering hows to turn up the idle on my 2.5. Afaik she should be idling on 8-900rpm, am i right?? Shes on about 5-600 at the moment. Thanks all

Anybody out there know what the pipe is actually for?? Long pipe from the reservoir to somewhere, but does not go to the pump!! Can i just block it of or is it vital?? Thanks

Hey All, Okay im in a spot of bother!! While fitting my new power steering pump(which broke my heart) i cut a pipe!!! Now in the 2.5v6 there are 3 pipes for the PS one from the resiovour(spelling) another from the pump to the steering rack and another to i dont know where!! Thats the one i cut!! Can anyone tell me what it is for and does anyone have a replacement?? All help appreciated

As the title says i tried to replace the power steering pump in my 2.5v6 omega today and i couldnt do it!! Couldnt even get the pump off!! The space to work is so confined!! Any tips or walk through?? Thanks lads!

Hey all its kinda baffled me, i dont know which litre/spec Omega`s come with a limited slip differential as standard?? I was told all mv6 ones did but the buddy recently purchased one on yere side of the water and it didnt have one. Anyone have any ideas?? Thanks lads

An electrickery input to the steering pump - Ask MarksDTM for an explanation :-[ - that gives you more assistance at low speed & little if any at speed.

Sounds kool!!! But the steering in my 2.5 was not any different than the steering in my 2 litre!!! Wud u feel the difference??
