V reg omega (facelift) and every time i insert a cd it ejects it strait away.....anyideas?.....and these are legit cd's not copies..thatnks

hello chaps, ..just had the cam seal gaskets and head gasket done on my 2.0l and was wondering if ive cleared ''all' the breathers (dont want gaskets blowing again)..ive done the 2 on the top of the engine-connected to the crankcase and the 'plenum?..i think its called.. (the unit thats attached to the top of the carb which,in fact, had the tiny hole blocked solid-now clear tho..)there is a big hose on the right hand side (rear)of the engine, looking at it from the front, which is connected by 4 bolts --is this a breather?.....many thanks

hello chaps/ladies, my omega 2.0l is, as i write, undergoing repairs to the cam seal gasket and head gasket, but, i had a msg left on the answerphone that the EGR valve has a piece broken off...which i knew there was a part of it ''glued on'' when i bought the car..anyways....can someone tell me what an EGR valve does please? and how it would effect the engine?....thanks v much.

thanks gents, she's in for cam seal and head gaskets thurs...just as well ask em to stick a new dis pac in as i think (by what ive read on hear) that thats on the way out too.....cheers

cam seal gasket 's needed doin for a cpl of mnths but the other morning whilst coming home from work there was a smokescreen behind me for a while..followed by the heater ' blowing cold air whilst on hot' and the temp gauge going into the red..until i eased off the throttle when i returned to normal and then back up(about 5miles home) anyways..all water had gone...expansion take smelled of petrol...now...is it a major job im looking at here...ive a friend who's a bit of a petrol head and keen to give it a go..anything special im gonna need?...besides the gaskets and head bolts?..he says maybe waped head?...costly?....anybody?...thanks..

i know my cam seals need doing but yest my 2.0 miggys temp gage shot thru the roof and when i checked the water ex/tank..it was empty!!..now if i rev it -it looks like a smoke screen in the rear view.......sigh....now what?....anybody??
