Thank you for all your emails.
To summarise, 173K miles, cambelt is due, it's a V6, 2.6 Auto Elite, usual elite spec, everything works except drivers heated seat (common problem) MOT until May 2014, Taxed until end Sept 2014, full set of steel spare winter wheels, black leather interior, stainless steel exhaust (lifetime warranty) makes a lovely roar when accelerating.
Only selling (not swapping) as partner is buying me a diesel vectra as a towcar.
Located in Cambridgeshire.

Should add also it has a full stainless steel exhaust system fitted, usual elite spec, drivers heated seat inop, full black leather interior, climate, rain sensitive wipers, BOSE audio, Only selling as we are getting something more economical to tow our caravan.

Omega Elite 2.6 facelift (2003) rear and front springs please, i found the end of one under the car, haven't looked yet to see which one but didn't want to come back and ask the same question again.
Presumably Vx only on these (not aftermarket)

I have the CCR2006 in a 2003 Omega Elite and would like to add DAB radio without losing the functions on the MID that the current radio supplies.

Where can i get a towbar fitted with twin electrics without paying £400, i have had 2 quotes so far, anglia towbars and Witter and both were in excess of £400, surely it's not THAT expensive.
Cambridgeshire based in case you wondered.

Tested out the rain sensitive wipers on my new elite today, first time i have ever used/experienced them.
I have to say i was impressed, did it exactly what it says on the tin...

« on: 28 September 2013, 16:32:40 »No i was thinking cracked exhaust manifold, quite common on the 2.2, noticeable when the engine is cold.Do you get a ticking noise from the engine compartment when its started from cold?
Thanks for taking the time to respond, to answer your question, its hard to say, perhaps a slight ticking sound which I had attributed to cam wear, are you thinking sticky tappet ?
Blocked gearbox breather, any oil leaks??
