Omega General Help / False Coolant Level warning on 2.5 Omega
« on: 16 March 2010, 17:19:28 »
I have a false "Coolant Level Low" warning on my 1999  2.5 CD petrol Omega. The local garage says that a new Coolant Box is required at £50 plus VAT plus labour. Does anybody know where the sensor is located and can it be changed?

I am a new member and my name is Lawrence Farrell which gets abbreviated to Lol. I have lived in Nantwich in Cheshire for the last 8 years after leaving Manchester where I lived for the other 60 years of my life. I have owned a 1999 Omega 2.5 CD saloon for nine years of which I have a great regard for.
Apart from a few electrical problems and an ongoing very slight loss of coolant problem all has been well. I hope that I have not bored you too much because the above is a description something similar to most members.
