Omega General Help / Help Please - Dent removal - Southampton
« on: 06 February 2008, 10:51:06 »
Has anyone used and can recommend a dent removal company in the Southampton area.

They need to be mobile, as allegedly one of the contractors on one of my sites has made a small dent in one of the neighbouring companies MDs car.

Omega General Help / Re: Front ride height?

Could one or two of you possibly measure the front ride height of your Omegas for me please?  Best done through center line of wheel to the wheel arch vertically.
I think either mine has sunk a bit, or the springs are weak (unlikely it's been lowered) as I keep scraping the front air dam on the downside of speed bumps, and it just in general looks a bit "nose down"
Thanks.

So what did yours measure at?

I will check mine as your comments reflect my thoughts about my car.

Omega General Help / Re: Traction control
« on: 16 January 2008, 22:43:57 »
Traction control is on as default, pressing the button switches it off. The light on is the warning that the traction control is off.

The light flashes when the the traction control is on and is it is activated by loss of traction.

Edited to say - way to slow to reply  ::)

I have a rattle from the passenger seat, door or seatbelt area. Always find rattles annoying, must get a passenger to locate it for me  :y

And Hi, new to this forum, had my car for about 3 weeks now.

the new Italian job is not great IMHO. But the rest of your night sounds fine to me - other than the whiskey which I don't like. Other than that  :y

Caterhams only exist to be driven, not to be polished and looked at  >:(
