Hope the nurses look after you... Wishing you a speedy recovery.

Welcome to OOF
Yep, hope all goes well Dave.Got a quote from Vauxhall for a new full exhaust on my 3.2, cleared mine straight away.....
Know what you may be going through. Had similar problems last Sept. After the op (still in hospital) a mate came to see me and thought it was great to get me laughing, bloody painful
Mine wasn't gall stones but blocked bowel.
Best wishes, take it easy, it's a slow recovery. I've only just got back to work.
Mick
All the volumes on my ipod are all over the place. Ive dont the volume equalise thingy in itunes but apparently that just affects the tracks when there played in itunes. I use my pod in the car alot on suffle, and some times i have to have my headunit at 20 to hear a track then the next one comes on blaring out epically loud and prolly damaging my speakersAll done via itunes then sync ipod, changes will take effect, everything same level.is there anything i can do to make them all the same volume....tia
If you do this just be careful ...OK so you've made my mind up. I'll reset the windows and enter the CD code.....the "positive" lead and the power pack connector MUST be kept clear of everything else ..... I've seen someone doing this and they managed to knock the "positive" as they lifted the dead battery out, it touched the body work and in a flurry of serious sparks welded itself to the bodywork, shortly followed by a horrible smell as the insulation on the powerpack cables started to melt. As there is no isolation switch the only way to stop the process was to wack the newly welded connection with a handy mallet and break it off. Hindsight (what a wonderful that is) suggested that disconnecting the "negative" may have worked better but at the time that was not thought of !!
JUST BE CAREFUL
Or connect a 12v power pack or another 12 v battery across the terminals, remove old battery, fit new and then disconnect power pack/spare battery. No need to reset anything job doneThat's an interesting idea dbug, I'll give it a try.
Sorry, didn't realise they had a built in battery.QuoteThanks dave. Just trying to power the ipod (aka gaypod here..![]()

)
Would just like it to stay on a bit longer before the power cuts off interupting the moment....ahem. (come to think about it maybe 30 mins is not enough...
)
Erm . . . .
My iPod has a built in battery, and powers up when I press the ON button
I can honestly say the last thing I would want is brighter fog lightsAgree. Especially if you want to use them in fog
2nd hand stalks have been known to often fail.bought mine from ebay @ £23 new, thinking it was GM. turned out to be pattern, at least was not stamped GM. Different feel to original, quiet in operation without the loud click click as wheel rotates but feels a bit too flexible when cruise buttons pressed and buttons a bit "sticky". Works though and actually cancels better than original which often cancelled too early.
If you get one dirt cheap / with a cruise setup, feel free to use, no reason not too.
they do however often fail quickly, you find you are flashing people constantly....then the car flashes of its own accord.
the other route is pattern off ebay, cheap, reliable, but mech not as good as original's, indicator cancel often kicks in too soon or too late.
I just got a variable speed stalk but it seems to have a different MID plug - also which is the relay on a 2.2dti.I too got the stalk to discover that the MID plug was a different type. Also the MID buttons are different from my current stalk (2.2) but the same configuration as the stalk on my previous 2001 car. i.e buttons top and bottom instead of front and back as on the current stalk.
I cannot find the how to in maintenance - anyone got any info or instructions
