Hi
Regarding the non working fob, have you checked the battery holder to circuit board connection, I've had this break on two fobs and it's not always easy to see the break, in both cases a repair was made using an axial lead of a resistor or diode, works fine still.
hope this helps

Hi
Had a similar problem with the 2 button fob, turned out to be a dry joint on the battery holder. You dont need to be an expert to repair but keep the heat to a minimum when re-soldering. If you look at the back of the circuit board with a magnifying glass the soldered joint should look smooth and bright, check any that look dull and crazzed.
Hope this saves some trouble. :)

Hi
Found this site by chance, liked what I saw and joined (eventually once my youngest had sorted password problems!!).
Like Vauxhalls in general, currently have four hence the need for sites like this.
Willing to help locals if I can.
Looking forward to some challenges.
Paul. :y
