get a dc volt meter, u can get a chep one £5. set it to dc volts, connect across the battery with out the engine running, record the reading 12 to 13 volts ish it will read, start the engine  see what it reads now. as u rev the engine the volts should rise if every thing is ok to 13 to 14.5 v dc. if it does  its charging ok , so you fault is something draining it.  if ur in madchester send me a pm c if i can help u out . steve

yea it will come of ok. and change the belt you need to undo some brackects nr ac pipes bit dont undo ac pipes.

yes they are the two bolts to remove the tentioner,fit a belt as well. you can do it

its a full rebuild top to tow, ready for the track, had it on rolling road got some stupid bhp out of it, think 500 bhp but can check with him .

he paid a lot for it and had a new crank made for it . spent a lot of cash on it ,
