get a dc volt meter, u can get a chep one £5. set it to dc volts, connect across the battery with out the engine running, record the reading 12 to 13 volts ish it will read, start the engine see what it reads now. as u rev the engine the volts should rise if every thing is ok to 13 to 14.5 v dc. if it does its charging ok , so you fault is something draining it. if ur in madchester send me a pm c if i can help u out . steve
