Thanks for the info. I have used one of the firms before to do a full alignment, and they set the caster to -1 17' and -1 16'. But another firm told me they could not be adjusted without a kit. I wondered if the first firm had just been scaming me as after about 12000 it has worn the inside of the drivers side down to no tread.
I did get a printout, but I will proberbly go to WIM to be on the safe side.

Well I don't know what happened, but I was checking out how to remove the MID as you recomended before I left work. When I started the car the MID worked OK and (touch wood) has continued to do so.
and am confused about disabling the radio code. As I can not see the display to check the code, I do not want to disconnect the battery.
Whilst trying to start the car I noticed the MID was randomly flashing lines, blocks and odd characters. I have tried removing the fuse as someone recomended but it still just flashes randomly, as if the voltave is too low. The battery is OK.
