Well somehow i can't make any new topic for selling things but....

I have GID from my omega to sell. Whats the approx. price for used GID in UK??
Is someone interested of mine?
GIDs don't come up often in UK (nor do CIDs), but do not seem to hold a decent price when they do (unlike CIDs).

If not depaired, virtually worthless. If depaired, a few £30-£50 as a guess.

It is depaired.

Yup, tech2

Post up engine, gearbox type and number of gears, whether it has HIDs, any diesel fired cabin heaters, tyre size and someone will try to get index.

engine: Y25DT (110kw, diesel)
gearbox: 5-speed AT-transmission (might be 5L40-E, not sure)
headlights: HID
heater: Eberspächer Hydronic D3W Z(factory installed)
tyres: summer-235/45 R17, winter-195/65 R15

Thanks for advance.... :)

One thing I noticed while driving, fuel consumption is noticeably lower now with CID.
My engine is 2.5dti 110kw but the CID in my car is from 2.2dti.

My question is: Is there engine type programmed in CID/GID, that makes this possible???

Thank you! :y Bought one from ebay for 380eur for my friend. Got it programmed with my "low budget" "My Naff Code Reader" ;D. Works just fine.
He gave the old CID to me. Managed to get it work on my car whith in 2 hours(welding, testing on car, installing, programming). Works great for now.....time will tell for how long. ;D

PS. I was pretty suprised that cheap "My Naff Code Reader" have this function..... :)

Omega Electrical and Audio Help / CID for my omega...
« on: 30 November 2008, 21:07:13 »
Hi! i'm omega user  from Estonia. I'd like to get some information from you guys :).

I'm going to replace my omega's GID to CID. I allready know that I need to put my GID to "Delivery mode" and also CID that i'm going to buy has to be in this mode. I noticed watching different CID's in ebay taht there are different combinations of 2 letter marking e. "KJ", what's the diffenrence between them. Wich one is suitable for my car?

My car is 2001 Omega 2.5DTI with NCDC2015 GID and telematic.

TIS gave me the following index codes for NCDC 2015:

1997-bose-025, no bose-024
2002-bose-045, no bose-044

I think I reprogrammed it from 024 to 025,
but it should be 045.

Should I let it be 025 or should I reprogram to 045? :-/

Does anybody know the difference in code index for bose between 1997 and 2002 version? :-/

If you have a Tech2, presumably you have TIS2000?  Its all in there.  It would be a big job to recreate all the programming options.

Well, I have Tis2000 in my computer, haven't found them yet..... ::)
Where can I find them?

You need to go into the NCDC2013 with Tech2 and select programming and the config programming.

Reset the varient code to:035 (it should be 034 at the moment)

Program that in and jobs a good un

Then i did it right, don't remember what the second no. was but the last one was 4 and I changed it 1 step up to 5....so its ok and I remember that disconnected speakers faults did not come up again after reprogramming.

Is there any chart or table available for omega with codes( I allready have it for displays) for ECC, Radio ect. for everything that can be code index programmed in with Tech2?
