couldnt cos it plugged into the gearbox its self but....

i ended up going to the bloke who sold me the box and cutting the connector off the loom in the scrap car and soldering that on colour for colour......

Still dont work though so think i might have been sold a duff box but going to put it on the tech2 first and see what it has to say

so help !!!!!    ive got a diagram out the haynes and found a 4 pin connector and it says :
white - b

dont supose anyone :
A) knows if the coonnector has abc or d on it

hi guys

had a prob with my omega for a wile when i boot it it leaks oil from the join between the box and the engine. so with changing the rocker cover gaskets thinking it was that im still no better off . But ..... a few days ago the car started to "clutch slip"( yes i know a auto doesnt have a clutch) to the best of my discription. Now its got to the point where it doesnt even drive it just revs up and crals(2mph) . ive sort of come to the conclusion that my rear main oil seal has gone as of the first prob.... the oil .......but.....

do you guys think the oil has oppsed the talk converter

any ideas or help on  this would be great and pls tell me if im completly barking up the wrong tree!!!

i am so anoyed .....

i really do aprecate the help ive had here and really need some more......

i went out yesterday and bought all the bits needed for the riocker gasket change plus a heater control valve to do that while i hade the engine in bits too .

spent all day doing it today including cleaning all the breathers too , and it still has the same problem.

so i jacked it up myself ( cos only the aa man went under there ) and there is oil everywhere but i think it may be sump gasket now, what do you guys think .

im pritty shore its not rear main cos looking thought the inspection hole the back of the fly wheel is dry  and i prosume that would be covered in oil .

Omega General Help / rear main oil seal ??????
« on: 14 April 2009, 23:08:11 »
i noticed yestrerday that my rear window on thmy 3ltr v6 mv6 estate had some shit on it but didnt realize it was oil. Today driving dlown the motorway a check my rearview mirror and the motorway is full of blue smoke from my car....

im right next to the services so pull in and turn the car straight off , get out and look at the the top of the engine .... no leak. then i kneel down and there is oil pissing out from underneath. The aa turn up and he jacks it up wipes it and when i run it (its cold by know) it hardly leaks at all but he thinks its rear main oul seal.
the largest quontity of oil is all over the gearbox but it aint gerbox oil.

im sorry to say it but ihate taking the aa for gosple as they have led me up the garden path before . anyone got any other ideas?
