Omega Electrical and Audio Help / coolant sensor
« on: 03 July 2007, 20:12:35 »
Hi all, Have a coolant low warning on my car, so I changed the coolant following Tunnies Coolant Flush & Change in the Maintenance Guides on this forum. But I'm still having the warning on the dash.
Q: Could it now be a faulty sensor or broken wire which is the problem?
If it is the sensor, Where is it situated on the engin and could I easily check it or change it?

Any help would be appreciated
Thanks Daisy

Hi
Have a 2.2 (2000yr) auto and have found recently that when I start the engin when its warm I sometimes have a mis-fire for a split second and then a auto box check warning. If I turn the engine off and start it again its normally ok. I have no probs when cold. Any help is appreciated Thanks

Omega General Help / Re: locking wheel nuts!!!!
« on: 07 May 2010, 22:48:07 »
Hi
Had the same prob last year.
How to sort it out...... Get a small chisle and gently tap around the anti tamper ring around the locking nut, you`ll see the ring start to come away from the nut. Now use a pin nose plyers and start to pull the ring off. Two to three mins and the ring should be off. Now find a socket just smaller than the remaining nut and tap it over the nut( tight fit is required) Now with your tyre wrench undo the nut. If it slips either the socket is to lose or you need to drive it on more. Took me five mins for the first one then about ten min for the other three. Good luck

« on: 22 April 2009, 20:14:12 »
Hi, I had an auto elec dude look at me car today, told me the crank sensor is iffy,, also told me it might be worth changing the cam sensor while I'm at it. Any ideas how I can do this for both sensors( 2.2 y22xe engin ) . Thx Daisy
