Yeah its a manual. Never thought of that though.  ::)
Whats a manual box rated to?

got a feeling that all V6's have the R28 ie 280Nm and others have R25 (250Nm) or i could be wrong............... ::)

Taa mate. Think i might just do the cam change tweek. just been reading about it....always a bit sceptical about these little black box tuning things, heard a couple of horror stories.

Omega General Help / Performance chip on shebay

Just seen a £45 chip on ebay to suit the 2.5 V6 Omegas. Has anyone tried these? The seller claims it raises bhp to 191 and torque to 261Nm.

Was thinking of getting one, but dont fancy been stung or worse, damaging my engine.

Thanks in advance for any info. ;)

Hi everyone. Just bought my first Omega. Its a 2001 elite 2.5 V6 jobbie. Manual box with leather and all the toys. Must say its the smoothest car i've ever had and been 40 i've had a few. Only paid 2k for it too, with 96k on clock, full dealer service history and 12mnths mot....oh, and a new cam belt last year.  Needed 4 tyres though, but all in all very happy. What do you guys get from a full tank of juice? just wondering as i put in £75 and will be looking at around 400miles!! is that right? Thing is i had a diesel passat and am used to getting 600-650 mile to a full tank. :-/
