I got 4 Wanli got em cheapo read bad reports about em since (doh) but have had no probs with em so far done about 2k, supposedly there noisey but cant say I noticed as hearing aid switched off LOL ! Treads are abit like Uniroyal Rainsport but 1/2 the price.......... 8-)
I got 4 newish Wanli tyres on mine too and I haven't had problems with them, even on very wet roundabouts ;)
When I got my Mig it had four new wanli's fitted the are good on the dry but awful in the wet unless you like driving sideways :o The two on the front actually started to delaminate there tread after 12k miles :o :o
Mine don't seem to give me problems wet or dry. May be a different "model" or made elsewhere.... could be many reasons why the difference.

Your not trying hard enough ;D ;D

I meant while driving as one should. I deliberately turned TC off once to see what the fuss about RWD was all about. T'was fun :y

Omega General Help / Re: SAI system...

Is there a fuse for the SAI I can remove for the time being, until I can get under it to remove the system?

TheBoy, do you mean the EGR solenoid?
No, the solenoid if for SAI. Sits near rad/battery, has vac pipes going to it. If you follow pipes from SAI pump, you'll see it
Yes I know what you mean now, found it. I'll leave that plugged in :)

Thanks for the replies. I asume I can "unscrew" the pipes from the manifolds and blank them with a short bolt with the same thread. What are the thread sizes I should get hold of?

Omega General Help / SAI system...
« on: 07 June 2008, 18:15:47 »
I'm having abit of trouble with the SAI, can I remove this system completely and will it affect anything once removed?

I am thinking that with all the pipework for this out the way, cambelt changes might be a little easier :-)

Its got a few niggles but overall its good. It was quite a bargain, £500 for a 53k miles 1998 car!

Hello all

Just bought a decent Omega 2.5 v6 Reflection.  I've been into vauxhalls for a while but this is my first Omega. Must say I'm pretty impressed with it, so nice to drive :)
