Omega General Help / Sparkplug oiling up....GLS 2.0 Petrol
« on: 08 July 2008, 07:03:16 »
My rear sparkplug is oiling up and causing poor ignition......once the revs have increased the car appears to run ok...however i have noticed that the idle is not as smooth as normal.....the plug is the one nearest the bulkhead.....

Any suggestions or remedies?

Many thanks.

Gerry.

Omega General Help / 1998 2.0 GLS Auto

Hi Guys,

I have owned an "R" reg...2.0 Petrol Auto GLS model for 3 years without any major problem until now.....

I have water leaking from the bottom corner of my radiator. I have tried the Stop Leak and Radweld remedies...however the leak has come back again..... The temperature was always usually contstant at approx 95 and you could hear the fan kick in regularly...however the gauge now hits 100 and i cannot hear the fan at anytime...Is there a last gasp remedy to halting the loss of water such as applying instant metal to the area leaking (which is very small)?

Is it possible that the fan has a relay that may have blown a fuse or could it be something related to loss of pressure in the system.....the expansion tank is always under what appears to be a decent pressure.
Many thanks for your hrlp and advice and i look forward to hearing from you...

Kind regards,

Gerry. Bristol.
