got some springs off e-bay.
when i looked at the other side to my surprise it looks like that one had snapped also before i got the car.
that would explain why it seems to sit low to the ground.
noticed that it also has volvo alloy wheels on to :o
thanks for all the advice
will fit them next week and let you know how i got on

Looks ok but isn't this for a 2.0 not a 2.2 or does your chassis number match?

my chassis number is W0L0VBM69Y1140840

How well does it idle?

seems of sometime then goes up and down and seems to run rough. above 2500rpm seems ok.
when you rev it in park it seems to stutter untill it sets to 2500rpm.

Omega General Help / Breather pipe on axle or gearbox?
« on: 20 October 2006, 22:34:56 »
Can anyone help....
I have a small pipe coming up from on top of the gearbox somewhere it ends near the break servo and is not connected to anything.
Should it be connected and if so where.
Could this cause my car to have no power upto 2500rpm?
as lately it has been suffering from this problem.

thanks for any help

p.s. 2000 2.2cdx

Lol, yes, plus you need to check the level on the flat....   :y:o

Yep, you crank up one side and fill it to the brim, but when you lower the jack the box is overfilled. Not easy to get the car level with the engine running and high up enough to crawl under...

i put ours on a slope and put the front wheels on the ramps.... hey presto the car was level and could get under.
just make sure it is well chocked.
