will check it out on my loom see whats what.

As its pretty hard to find any diagrams for the NCDR system for a vec b.

2
nope lol, short as in earth them off?

What is P1 and P32 spose to be on MID plug?

3
Ok but are cid mid plugs the same pin layout as standard mid. With exception of CAN instead of stalk?

Dont understand why he cant get signal if all the diag wires are there..

4
Its a vectra b Lol

5
Any idea which pin it will be on cid 32pin connector? Or did you mean grey plug p32 connects to diag plug p1?

Also which pins on diagnostic plug does radio/cdc/cid wire to.

6
Im goin to be removing the loom to check it out. As im sure i had diag wire from radio into pin 7 on standard radio loom (1 of the brown/white wires). Cdc diag i will have to check upon but i think it may not be there as my ncdr tm loom came with the cdc prewired on that. And my car came with grey plug mid so diag wire should all ready be there for that.

Omega Electrical and Audio Help / NCDR1100 diagnostic trouble
« on: 03 April 2011, 18:58:48 »
Ok linking back from a previous thread a few months ago,

I have finaly got around to getting the car into the auto electrition, where they have aquired the code from the NCDR1100 system and ready to pair the screen.

But they hit a blip in the works were they said there tech2 could not get a signal via the diagnostic plug to talk with the NCDR1100.

On inspecting they noticed the system runs canbus links between Screen, NCDR, CDC (which i new). They are baffled and claim that the NCDR needs 2 canbus wires running to the Diagnostics plug in order to get a signal for there tech2.

Now i told them not to wire anything just yet as i was pretty sure its just 1 wire they needed (diagnostic wire from radio to diagnostics plug).

If anyone can shed any light this would be helpful.

Can i find out without a tech 2? ("My Naff Code Reader") as i would have to book into vx or auto electection to get it on a tech 2.

I will have to wire the diagnostic pin into the ncdr.. Which pin on a standard radio harness is the diagnostic pin?

How much would you charge to sort this out for me? Providing its just the display? I think my display is KK (vectra b).

Like said before ncdr code and cdc3 must be pairded together ok as they work. I no if cdc3 has incorrect code the ncdr will not think its there? And ncdr will flash radio safe if its code is incorrect?

I only get display safe. I do not get radio safe. I can use the cdc3 and ncdr1100 perfectly and use sat nav and cd player and bc functions ect. so there codes must be fine. Its just the screen.

I have it booked into a trusted auto electrical shop next week. So any advise to pass over to them would help.

I have checked german ebay for an unpaired replacement cid. There are a few on for about £200.

Before i buy one .. Can my cdc3 be read to aquire my systems code ?

Even in the event of an incorrect code can it be changed to match my cdc3 / ncdr code?

Do i need my cdc3 read to get my code?

The auto electection i will go to never replaced te screen. So i have more faith in these people to check it out for me.

The unit was bought from a scraped car. I installed it all, and the screen didnt work. So after searching the internet i found the lcd replacemet was a sharps item. I bought the replacement lcd and had it changed. It worked but the screen displayed as an opel screen. A trip to VX sorted that out but now it has display safe
