The radio is on the same fuse as the dash so if the dash is still working it must be a problem with the radio itself mate. Hope this helps.

Anybody know where I can get some white dials for my 99 prefacelift 2.5cd??? Ive seen some on a car on upullit.co.uk but they're selling the whole car! Did any models come with them as standard??? Any help much appreciated!!!

Another thing to remember mate is that going from a 6 to an 8 cylinder your rev counter wont read properly!

I was fitting a stereo yesterday and think I must have shorted something out 
! The stereo now just flashes on and off but more importantly all my dash clocks including the speedo, milometer, rev counter, fuel and temp gauges are now not working!! Can anyone tell me if theres a fuse that controls these and if so where?

Just wanted to say a gig thanks to everyone on the forum who helped with my various posts lately. :yMy miggy went straight through its mot yesterday no probs . Am now back in the drivers seat after laying the car up to fit an elite leather trim and various other jobs that ended up taking 8 MONTHS!! Thanks again. Mark

Hi mate. I had the same with mine a few weeks ago. Put key in drivers door lock and turn it. It will feel stiff then move but the internal doorpin wont pop up. The drivers door will be unlocked tho. Hope this helpss mate. Mark

Yes afraid so. I did put the ignition on with them unplugged so I could stupidly listen to the radio. Have I done any lasting damage? I have slapped myself on the wrists lol!!

Ive added an elite leather interior. Has side airbags etc same as the cloth I taken out. Lights been on since then but none of airbags have been deployed all still intact. Is this the reason it needs resetting?? I just thought I could plug it all in as a replacement!!

My airbag light has come on on my 99 2.5 cd. Its due for the mot and the garage says its not part of the test but theres obviously summat wrong!! 
I hear alot about flashing codes up. How do I do this?? What do I look for?? Any help would be great. Thanks. Mark

Where can I get a code reader that will work on my 99 cd manual?? Are the cheapo ones worth bothering with and will it allow me to turn my airbag light off?? Any help wud be great. Fanx lads ( and lasses!!)

Hi ,
My hbp had gone and looking under the car the water was running down the bellhousing. Should be easy enough to diagnose when feeling around under the hbp there will be noticable wetness. Good luck tho in fixing. Mine was a swine to do!!! lol

Have you checked fuse 9? Mine blue and had similar symptoms. Maybe worth trying. Good luck. Trademeister
