....player in my 2000 V6 CD (facelift) , I don't have a car pass there was not one when purchased. I need to replace the DIS (coil) pack but will not have the code to re input, are these units coded to the car or will I need to get a car pass ?? I have searched for any answers but no found any for the CDR20005

My instrument illumination seems to be set to bright and when I try to adjust it with the 'knurld knob' it moves fully up & down but it doesn't seem to change. Have any others had this issue and is it an easy cure ?

I have just purchased a 2000 'X' reg Omega V6 CD and have had no problems as of yet but thought I'd better join the 'gurus' here just in case I do stumble upon the odd issue , ya never know !!   ;)
