ignition has been left on for ages now and i still cant solve why it wont allow me to put a code in. tried ignition on while holding AS and nothing happens - no beeps - nowt

yes its been written on a label on top - ive already left it a while to no avail. what should i leave the radio saying?

when i press AS it comes up with 7 safe
i get no beep when i hold AS while turning ignition
however many times i try!

i have code 87 too - i have other codes to do with the maf but yes i have code 87
can anyone else shed anylight on this one please?
no heated front seats (no led on switches either)
no map reading lights
code 87 a/c cutoff relay voltage low

anything else to look at?
as said before the 2 fuses that collaborate with the heated seats are both fine :-?
has no-one had this problem in the mini facelift before?

mine is the mini facelift so its not a push switch
i did check the 2 fuses that match up with the pictures on the fuse box and they were both fine :-?

yes its the front seats - both switches do not illuminate when you spin the control from '0' to '1'-'5'
i havnt checked for voltages yet
