Omega General Help / Re: 3.2 tyres
« on: 09 March 2011, 17:06:43 »
I have some neuton 5000's fitted to my 3.2 and they don't tramline and the car drives striaght. when they were first fitted it was like driving on marballs until they bedded in, i am currently on 18000m on this set and still good tread, i do mostly mortorway miles. The tyre in the dry is excellent no compliants, in the wet you do have to watch for worn roundabout road surfaces, you do get some slight oversteer followed by some slight oversteer but nothing scary and only if very, very wet. The tyre can be purchased from a SAAB dealer and they were £55 a corner, good tread pattern and a large rim protecter, just put Neuton 5000 in a search engine you find it easy. :)

Omega General Help / Front Passenger Door dead locked.
« on: 06 September 2010, 18:35:13 »
2002 / 3.2 Elite
In the last few days I have noticed that the front passenger door will not open from the key fob and I can't pull the tab up.  I have worked out that the motor for the lock has a fault and it is in the deadlock position, but I can't open the door to get the door card off to change the offending item. Has anybody had the same problem and a solution would be gratefully recieved.   :(

Omega General Help / Re: Front wishbone question.
« on: 11 January 2010, 16:53:39 »
If you ring ZF trading Ltd, (there on the web) they supply the original wishbones for VX. If you give them your postcode they can give you you nearest motorfactors  that sell the items. With the VAT both sides £120 and you get OE equipment but without the VX sticker(better than £260 a side from VX). In the ZF trading lists you will find the wishbones under the manufactured name of Lemfoder.  Hope this helps.
