need to change springs on a mb w210 3.2 diesel,as you can imagine the springs are very beefy, thats why i need the correct tool, i remembered how helpful this forum was when i had my 2.5 tractor

just thought i'd throw this out on the forum,i am trying to find anywhere that can hire me a coil spring compressor,it must be the internal type.any help will be much appreciated. i am based in the erdington area of birmingham. T.I.A mike :(

got mine off ebay!but they're gen GM, made in italy?

will the glow plugs be staring at me?in relation to the injectors,where are they? sorry to be a nuisance

ok the boy,so i remove the intake manifold,have done this before to change a leaking injector and replace cold start temp sender,when i did this, i didn't
notice where the glow plugs are.could you please enlighten?and what tools are needed to remove them?    thanks again mike

been having a bit of trouble starting my miggy lateley,
so was thinking of changing my glow plugs,i would like to know exactly where they are, and if its poss to do without removing intake manifold. any suggestions and tips much appreciated.

Omega General Help / fast idle

right hopefully someone can point me in the right direction.car in question is a 2.5td.the problem is 9 times out of ten the idle will race upto about 1100 rpm, and will take about 20 mins of running to settle down to a more respectable 650or so rpm.then if i turn off engine for a short while and restart her idle will race again even though she's warm.doing my head in now esp as she his an auto.any help or info appreciated. just a quick hello,an a short intro,have owned my 2.5td,cd estate for about18 months now,and may i say well pleased with her,that was until a fortnight ago,when the ar25decided she'ed had enough.found a ar35 box on ebay,made enquires,and turns out the bloke selling is a member on this forum,julian.buy box,jui comes down to have a look,next thing i know he's under the car with his spanners,points out a few nuts for me t undo.before u know it gear box is dropped.change bell housing and t/c,replace,job done.drive it a couple of days,keep losing drive.spk to juiles,he comes round,we drop box again to find the oil seal was kaput.new oil seal,uprated thrust washer,and replace box.job's a good un(tuoch wood)big thanx to julian,what a top bloke.now i've got the ar35 box in ,am thinking of chipping her,any help and advice much appreciated, T,I.A mike
