Thanks for the welcome.
Sorry to disapoint but i dont have a motorbike, my eldest wishes i did though.
I'm not a real ninja, (eldest wishes i was) its just a nickname i've had since being about 9 as i've being doing martial arts from age 7.
The nick name's stuck even at work, even with the customers.

Hi all.  :)
Excellant forum. Didn't realise there were so many other committed Omega owners out there.
We've been driving Omega's for about 10 years and at present have 2 2.5 petrols.
Keep up the good work.

Its ok to ban trucks off the road but how many railtracks and rivers run past our houses??. The Gov seam to be getting it alot wrong but their all the same, it doesnt matter who is voted in it wont change their all in it for themselves. Bring the boys and girls home and let the other country's sort it out for themselves.

Sound like its going to be very costly, unless anybody can suggest something to advise Vauxhall about (the experts dont always get it right 1st time).

Need some help chaps. Steering has gone bad on my face lift 2.5v6. Had a slight pull to the left, put it in for tracking and it came out with the steering wheel at 2 o clock when driving straight and the car pulling to the left. Put it back in and they couldn't get it to set up right, said the wishbones had play in them. I've changed the wishbones and roll bar link joints and all the track rods appear ok. Its been back again for tracking which has been adjusted again but its even worse. The steering vibrates and pulls badly to the left and there was an massive bang from the car when i parked on the drive last night, i've got it booked into Vauxhall tommoroe for them to look at but will have to have a Ford Focus as a loan car (bad enough the steering without having a Ford Focus) :-[ .
Any thoughts as i'm desperate, my 1998 Omega is in having some cosmetic beauty :'( .

The one we've just lost (i sound like the dogs just died..) was bought new in september 1994, had 46000 miles on the clock and still smelt of new leather when the doors were opened, never faulted in 11 years. I'll be lucky if it had 2 sets of tyres on and an exhaust system above the usual servicing and brake pads. only just got the alloys, boot spoiler, suspension and 3 1/2 foot griffin decals fitted before the small boy in his underpowered go kart rear ended the wife whilst she was parked. He managed to shove the towbar (sorry had a caravan until recently) through the fuel tank and make the boot into Everest, then knock her into the mondeo infront of her. Aparantly its a drinks can now.
The good side is we've now got V6 power, and dont they motor.
