tried www.automotiveelectronics.co.uk AVOID AT ALL COSTS !!!! >:( Didnt even get to ask him owt cos i changed engine and told me to f"£k off to vauxhall  ::)

the guy that took the engine out of the car forgot to take the immobiliser out !!! but i still have the car pass with the vin etc, anyone got an immobiliser and wires?

sorted the pinout for the ecu  :o

next issue is the immobiliser !! pin 29 on the ecu, does anyone know what happens on pin 29 when the engine is running ? grounded or 5v+ or 12v+ ? or data?

what circuits in the ecu are controlled by the imobiliser line? starter? fuel liftpump? fuel distributor pump?

before i blow more £££'s how in-depth does it go? ll ecu/ecm pinouts included?

i am looking for a wiring diagram / schematic for the engine electronics for a 1999 omega 2.5 td.
currently trying to fit the engine into a BOWLER type racer !!!
any experts care to add there knowledge?

got the chip fitted !!!
smokes a bit....then we tested it

shot up the road in 1st gear, maxed the throttle and then it kicked, ran like a bag of spanners with WHITE SMOKE

turned it off and restarted....runs sweet....ideas?

its hooked up to a landrover r380 manual  :y had to buy a p38 rangy clutch, dual mass fly wheel and get the props cut down  :D

ecu number is 0 281 001 427

anyone know about upgrading the chip in the ecu ? 1999 m51 engine omega x25dt.

removed immobiliser in ecu at last !!!  :y  now want it to go faster and these dont do obd2 :-/ for upgrades for power.

Anyone got good eprom dumps? The ecu was reprogrammed to remove the immobiliser and maybe they corrupted one of them.

just a thought.....its got a range rover throttle position sensor on the accelarator pedal....the same as omega????
