Omega General Help / Re: HELP!! LOCKED OUT OF MY MIGGY!!!!!!!
« on: 18 November 2008, 21:54:38 »
I agree with the forcing the key in the Lock, my battery went flat and i could not get in, i thought if i forced it any more the key would break so i phone the AA.
He came out and just forced the key and pulled the handle and hey presto!

Sometimes brute force and ignorance is the answer

That dispack is well shot :o.

PS. Just for your info, it would be best in future to stick some rag or kitchen paper in the inlet manifolds in case you drop a bolt etc. down them :(.

You are write with the kitchen paper, i did nearly lose a bolt

Deffo HT leads you can see the plastic cable management around them.

They are difficult to remove so someone looks like they took the easy option.

The caps at the other end are probably just dangling near the dis pack

Omega General Help / Re: Where does my spare pipe go??!!
« on: 19 October 2008, 17:15:51 »
I replaced the dis pack, plugs and leads on my 3.0 V6 2 weeks ago
and obviously had to strip my engine to do it.
i then found the same tie wrapped pipe, i even removed my scuttle panel(Again)  to try and locate it. it seemed to run fine without it so did not worry to much , so you have now put that little niggle in the back of my mind to rest. thanks forum ;D

had my remote repaired by Martin, recieved last week in post (Via certain auction site).

Very happy , like having brand new remote.

I have also sent my spare for the same job.

All i can say about pricing is, i don't mind paying a decent price for a decent job.  ;D ;D ;D ;D

You don't want it to become a hassle for repairing them.

I bet everybody with a 3 button remote will want you to repair it at some point.
