Hi

Yeah I get the same codes whether the engine is running or not.
I have allso  had a running problem and found that when i have pulled plugs of icv and maf i get these codes but in a couple of days they are gone so maybe just unplugging them sets these codes off .Have had a look under bonnet tonight in darkness and can see blue flashing at one plug lead back of engine think found my problem

Atleast 10 mins but no maxium
Your battery will be disconnected hence why I said about radio codes.
The main reason for all my suggestions is they wont cost a penny and will rule in & out many possibilities.
Without a code there are many things that can cause a running problem but you will never know,so its a process of working through all of the problem areas 1 by 1 do have radio and cd changer codes and thanks for all your help will try what you sugest thanks Iain
Iain
put that in wrong place sorry

Sorry spark plugs tell the story of what's going on inside the engine but from your discription all seems ok
The reason for the reset is any learnt running patterns can carry on after the fault has been corrected.
Last thing I can think of now is the Italian tune up.......Give it a total thrashing down the local bypass and see it clears the problem  8-)
see what you mean now with reset will try that i can allso do the italian tune up oh the reset do i fix leads together for how long and theirs not much point putting ignition on is their

Yes mid sections are the same.
It sound's nice with exhaust off !!!!!!!!!!
If you have a solid mass in one of the mid  boxes the only thing I can think of is one of the cat bricks is breaking up and the rest has turned.
But before you spend any cash I would suggest if you have the radio code to disconnect the battery and lock the POS & NEG leads together then remove a spark plug to check the condition.
Locking the battery leads together resets the ECU's & module's back to default but wont affect any software updates.
Have a go  ::)
why would i need to check a plug have changed plugs and all nice tan brown what will resetting ecu do the box has a maybe short pipe and the end is crimped in the shape of a cross blocking wont shift with chisel the two boxs are different make it just looks like it should nt be there thanks
