2.0 auto 98, will gearbox go into limp mode if low on fluid automatically on its own without showing on computer ,car starts ok,engine sounds fine but drives very slow as if in limp mode,but nothing showing on computer,your knowledge is needed thanks deecee

sounds very much like g/box oil ,dextron 3 only their is a page on how 2 on here,top up as outlined ,had 2 do mine a couple of times milage was 100,just over hope it helps deecee

sounds like heat problem could be leads breaking down under temp ,garage test will not find if only happens under heat/power when car running,hope it helps

take off rear wheel get a torch bottom of spring should point 2 rear of car may find spring broke off 2 the inside of car must b a weight /balance thing, hope it helps.

jack car up check that coil spring has mot broken off bottom coil and its rattlin about they do tend snap off both mine gone its worth checkin cheers, deecee.

Hi Jane,mines a 2.0 temp goes 2 about 95 should not stop there as the lads said clean out breather pipes and idler u will find it runs cooler and better ,auto box common prob just needs atf replacing hope it helps ,deecee
